Building Your Stride From the Ground Up
aAre you a runner? A walker? An athlete? Looking for the tools to help stay injury free? Then you want to sign-up for this 5-part workshop series. Each week you will focus on different parts of the body. Sarah Hill will guide you through exercises, stretches and strategies to help you stay injury free. Here's what you can look forward to each week.
Tuesday's May 8 -June 5 6:45-8pm @The District.
Week 1: Core: starting from the center.
Week 2: Foundation: feet, ankles, & plantar fascia.
Week 3: Knees: shins, knees & IT band
Week 4: Hips: stretch & increase range of motion
Week 5: Grace & Agility: plyometric & high intensity exercises to add a spring in your stride.
Sarah is an Exercise Physiologist, college athlete, Boston Marathon qualifier and yogi. Her journey with running has been sprinkled with runner's highs and lows, but her passion for running has kept her committed to healing each injury and challenge as it arises. Sarah is excited to travel the journey with you! All who run or walk art any speed are most welcome.
